A graduate of the University of Michigan, Dr. Ashkan Khabazian practices as lead emergency room clinical pharmacist at Sharp Memorial Hospital, located in San Diego, California. He holds responsibility for managing the pharmacokinetics, or the processing of medication, in each patient and prescribes treatments accordingly. In this effort, Dr. Ashkan Khabazian reviews results from microbiology testing and collaborates with hospital staff to ensure that patients receive optimal medical attention.
Dr. Ashkan Khabazian has delivered several presentations during his career. Most recently, he addressed an audience of pharmacists and physicians on the effects of high-dose insulin. His other speeches have covered topics ranging from intracranial bleeding to diabetes and hypertension.
Away from his practice, Dr. Ashkan Khabazian maintains an active lifestyle by lifting weights at the gym and participating in high-intensity cardio workouts.
